Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond 7 year Kentucky Bourbon pays tribute to the earliest days of the Heaven Hill Distillery’s history when in 1939 it released Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond. The namesake brand quickly became the number-one-selling Bourbon whiskey in the state of Kentucky. Even today, the craftsmanship poured into this bottle by the same founding family meets the exacting standards first set forth in the Bottled-in-Bond act of 1897.
 
Color: Golden amber Aroma: Warm notes of vanilla, honey, and a rich caramel sweetness
Taste: Smooth, warm and sweet with a subtle rye spice note; caramel and honey mingle with just enough oak and char to round out the richness

Fitzgerald, who according to a family biography of Pappy Van Winkle may have been a rather more colorful character than we imagine!Fitzgerald, it seems, was a bonded treasury agent, one of the only people to carry keys to the storage warehouses. Apparently he also had a taste for the very finest bourbons and didn't mind helping himself! It was this infamous character with the fine palate who was immortalised by the brand back in the 1880s.

Palate: Rich with caramel, orange blossom honey, and bread pudding.
Finish: Long, layered, and savory.
