A limited edition Longrow Red single malt from the gang at Springbank in Campbeltown! This edition of the heavily peated whisky spent four years maturing in bourbon casks, followed by a further three years in French Pinot Noir wine casks before it was bottled at a robust 57.1% ABV.
 
Tasting Notes:
Nose: A herbal, vegetal note is immediately apparent in notes of tomato plant and heather, along with touches of morello cherries and smoky bacon.
Palate: Sweet and savoury meet on the palate, with notes of smoked ham, wine gums, raspberry jam and honey.
Finish: Characteristic coastal notes come to the forefront in the finish of this dram.
