On the nose caramel crisps, dried brambleberries, vanilla bean, buttered cereal grains, peach preserves, nutmeg, and clove. On the palate, dried peach, banana chips, toffee, vanilla wafer, more dried berries and a dusting of sweet cinnamon. The finish is round and warm with sweet and spice finishing slowly into a fade of vanilla and sweet oak. Nothing to blame Canada for here, just well-balanced, cask strength goodness.
